Yarrow Housing, which specialises in supporting adults with learning disabilities, has launched a sex education programme that uses explicit language, colloquial slang and images to get its message across. Lets Talk About Sex has been developed in conjunction with adults who have learning disabilities. It includes a policy document for staff an easy to use and understand information booklet for those with learning disabilities, and an interactive Powerpoint presentation to be used as part of a sex education awareness programme involving service users, their parents and carers.
